People Business Partner | Tech & Business
Job Objective
An HRBP working in an SME, offering expertise in all people areas, and also doing a more operational activity such as dealing with employee relations or policy issues. Drive people strategy for their business area, alongside teams of specialists (such as talent acquisition, culture, L&D & OD), and operational support teams who deal with the day-to-day issues of things like absence and policy (sometimes referred to as ‘shared services).
What role you will play?
- Manage communications with stakeholders and implement the business strategy from a people perspective.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Provides guidance and leads the implementation of their business unit workforce planning.
- Manages the onboarding & offboarding processes to provide a sustainable people experience.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Participates in the implementation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc degree in Business Administration or any relevant field of education.
- +8 years of experience, operating as an HR business partner with demonstrated success in meeting exceptionally high standards in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize
- Advanced use of Excel and reporting tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy and demonstrated track record of working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with fluent verbal and written Arabic & English.
